Royal China

6025 Royal Ln Ste 201 Dallas, TX 75230
(214) 361-1771

This classic Chinese restaurant has been serving the hungry people pf Dallas since 1974, but a recent restaurant refresh makes Royal China feel new again. You can’t go wrong with literally anything here but our favorite comfort foods from Royal are the Dry Stirred Beef and the xiao lóng bāo Soup Dumplings. Cozy up to the sleek marble bar or snag a table early in this busy spot that always seems to have customers clamoring to get a table.

Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine

2909 W 15th St Plano, TX 75075
(972) 985-1688

This Chinese/Thai restaurant is in the Dallas suburbs nearby other Asian businesses, but Wu Wei Din is one of our favorite dining destinations. Unassuming and casual, Wu Wei Din turns out some of the most authentic Beef Noodle Soups in the area, but you also have to try the Dan Dan Noodles with Braised Pork when making the trek north to Plano.

Bushi Bushi

4930 Belt Line Rd Ste 100 Dallas, TX 75254
(972) 677-7653

Located in bustling Addison’s restaurant row, Bushi Bushi’s modern surroundings and fun robot food deliveries in the restaurant speak to how authentic and delicious the food is here. As a dim sum restaurant, you can order a dizzying array of dishes to enjoy but some of the ones we like best are the Hong Kong style Crispy Shrimp Dumplings and the Golden Garlic Lamb Chop.

Café Hunan

5600 SMU Blvd Ste 101 Dallas, TX 75206
(214) 754-4747

Hunan’s new location near SMU is trendy and modern, but don’t let that fool you. Café Hunan has been cranking out reliably authentic Chinese food for over 24 years to hungry Dallasites. Getting an order of the Chicken Fried Rice or Crispy Orange Beef to enjoy here when you want a quick but tasty meal is always a good idea.

Fortune House

2010 Greenville Ave Ste B Dallas, TX 75206
(469) 858-1265

This Arlington staple’s newest location in the Lower Greenville area brings the Shanghai kitchen’s dumplings to Chinese food-loving Dallas. A beautiful restaurant with hanging lanterns and comfy leather barrel chairs and an amazing open kitchen gives guests the feeling of walking through an elegant street in Shanghai, setting the stage for some of the best Chinese food offerings in the city. Some favorites here are of course the dumplings, as well as Fortune House’s Pork Belly and Crab Rangoons.

Peking Duck at Tian Tian in dallas

Tian Tian

18101 Preston Rd Ste 204c Dallas, TX 75252
(972) 381-7777

Warm and inviting, Tian Tian doesn’t look like your typical authentic Chinese restaurant so you might be surprised when their robotic delivery arrives at your table. But this unassuming spot is the perfect place to try out Peking Duck if you’ve never had it before – and especially if you love it – but the half order is plenty for one person. Other dishes to try here are the Truffle Soup Dumplings and the Garlic Ribs.

Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Broccoli Beef at First Emperor in Dallas tx

First Emperor Chinese Restaurant

200 W Polk St Ste B Richardson, TX 75081
(972) 644-2830

Richardson is home to many of the area’s best Chinese restaurants and we love the suburb’s First Emperor for its classic feel and traditional dishes. While takeout comprises a lot of business here, the food here is what keeps diners coming back to this family-owned location. Some popular items to try here are the Sesame Cake and the Sizzling Tofu.

Mapo Tofu at Jeng Chi in dallas tx

Jeng Chi Restaurant

400 N Greenville Ave Ste 11 Richardson, TX 75081
(972) 669-9094

This Taiwanese and northern Chinese food mainstay has been a beloved part of the Asian foodie culture in Dallas for over 30 years. A restaurant, bakery and bar, Jeng Chi is always busy but it’s worth the wait. Not-to-be-missed dishes here are Shrimp and Pork Steamed Dumplings, Spicy Dan Dan Noodles and some Coconut Taiwanese Snow Ice for a not-too-sweet finish.

Chili Oily Noodles at Highland Noodles in Dallas tx

Highland Noodles

9188 Prestmont Pl Ste 110 Frisco, TX 75035
(469) 920-8533

This relative newcomer to the Chinese food scene in Dallas demonstrates the old colliding with the new in their gorgeous mural of iconic Chinese elements juxtaposed with a trio of sleek televisions tuned to sports. But the food at Highland Noodles is authentic and the guests lining up to eat here agree that this noodle house is excellent. Some favorites here are the Lanzhou Hand-pulled Beef Noodles, Braised Pig Trotter and the Spicy Incense Pot with Shrimp.
