We absolutely love the Bear E Patch because their pancakes are massive. Breakfast is served all day, so you can sleep in and know that you’ll still be able to enjoy their delicious morning options. The pancakes include a short stack or a large stack. You can also choose blueberry, chocolate chip, as well as any seasonal flavors that might be available. The casual diner is always busy, proving it’s worthy of being on this list.

BBB is one of the biggest and best breakfasts that you can get in Charleston. The menu is quite diverse, focusing on everything from skillets to Belgian waffles. Here, you’ll find that pancakes are called flapjacks, and they tend to be very large. The best part here is that they have a house syrup blend that offers the perfect flavor to your stack. As for the vibe, the interior is laid back, and the patio allows you to enjoy the beautiful weather.

5. Jasmine Porch

1 Sanctuary Beach Dr, Kiawah Island, SC 29455

Although Jasmine Porch is technically on Kiawah Island, we had to share it because of the amazing pancakes. The restaurant is located inside The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Breakfast is served starting at 6:30 every morning. The menu includes a number of elevated lowcountry items that are prepared with the freshest possible ingredients. The classic buttermilk pancakes are divine and are served alongside a number of sausage or bacon options. And if you desire gluten-free pancakes, they have those, too.

Breakfast is served seven days a week. The buttermilk pancakes can feature a number of toppings including blueberries, bananas, and even pecans.
