This vegetarian restaurant has a variety of Vietnamese dishes. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the menu serves foods like salads full of fresh vegetables and greens. The spicy lemongrass tofu is a favorite of many because of the rich flavors in the fried tofu, lemongrass, white onions, and green onions in a coconut sauce that is spiced perfectly.

Desert Root Kitchen changes its menu daily, and you are not sure what you will get, but there is a guarantee you will get fresh, delicious vegetarian options. The hummus is a big hit, flavored with chili spice. Other dishes we tried with the menu of the day were pasta salad, lentil soup, and quinoa.

We saw burritos and plan to try them the next time we visit. They often have wraps, burritos, and side dishes that include rice and pasta. The restaurant is set in a small green corner with lots of plants, and the patio has good shade, but during summer, it can get rather hot.
