McGillin’s Olde Ale House

Established in 1860, McGillin’s is an authentic Irish bar that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you open the front door. Our favorites to eat here are Fish and Chips, but the Seafood Cake sandwich is delicious, too. This pub is hopping at night with local college kids but the cozy ambiance is welcoming to visitors of every age.

This Irish pub’s fun name has an origin story that centers around Tir na Nog, or the land of eternal youth – a perfect moniker for a pub where you can always feel young at heart. Don’t miss the Pub Sliders here or the Salmon Bites, both ideal for sharing over a pint while watching the big game on one of Tir na Nog’s huge televisions along with the other sports fans sure to be sharing the pub with you at any given time.

This Fishtown Irish pub started out as a hunting lodge and the ceiling in Murph’s retains the evidence of the pub’s former life.  The rest of the pub is traditionally decked out with rustic decor on exposed brick walls, plenty of bar and table seating and a memorable bar layered with thousands of copper pennies. Not-to-miss meals here have to include Murph’s Rack of Lamb and Seafood Manicotti.

McSorley’s Ale House doesn’t focus on traditional Irish food, but this family-owned place is known for its Famous Wings with eight different sauces.
