(212)219-0666

Bubby’s New York isn’t an overly-complicated culinary juggernaut. They serve simple comfort food with attention paid to ingredient sourcing. What’s not to love a place that serves their spin on chicken and waffles? At Bubby’s, you can get CBD-infused coffee. You’ll also enjoy other favorites like deviled eggs, and bacon with macaroni and cheese. The menu would make you think you were somewhere in Georgia or Alabama as opposed to New York, but we’ll take it.

22. Pig N’Whistle

4801 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80204
(720)542-3437

This medical and recreational marijuana dispensary in Denver kept the namesake of the legendary motel that served barbecue and operated as a speakeasy. When owner Eddie Bohn opened the doors it was only the second motel in the Denver area. In its heyday, the motel was quite the place to be. Many pro sports stars and celebrities frequented Eddie Bohn’s cultural hub. That may have had a little something to do with the speakeasy in the basement. The building and namesake live on as one of the biggest dispensaries in Denver. They have an extensive menu of marijuana flowers, concentrates, topicals, and edibles.

23. The Coffee Joint

1130 Yuma Court, Denver, Colorado 80204
(720)583-4657

The Coffee Joint is on the THC side of the cannabis spectrum. They happen to be the first licensed social marijuana consumption club. They also sell CBD products and provide a cannabis education program. The Coffee Joint has several larger events per year that garner a fairly large crowd. The biggest one? Their 4/20 celebration, naturally. At the Coffee Joint, you can bring your cannabis products and partake while you enjoy the namesake – a coffee.

26. Arrowhead Manor

9284 Highway 285, Morrison, Colorado 80465
(303)-738-8454

If we were talking about the most upscale establishments that are 4/20 friendly the Arrowhead Manor would be number one. This rustic, castle-like inn is equipped with private stone baths and fireplaces. Relax in your room for the night with the home theater system that’s installed in all the suites. Located within a stone’s throw of Red Rocks concert venue and other outdoor attractions, there’s no shortage of recreation to go with your haul from the local dispensaries at this smoke and chill hotel. While you cannot smoke indoors, you can freely smoke on your room’s private patio or on any of the hotel patios without a care in the world. And feed yoru munchies with the wonderful breakfast at this bed and breakfast spot!

30. NuWu Cannabis Marketplace

1235 Paiute Circle, Las Vegas, NV 89106
(702) 844-2707

The NuWu Cannabis Marketplace is like a cannabis flea market with a warm, well-lit environment that is open for 24 hours every day of the week. We put it at number one not only because of their wide variety of all things cannabis but also for the fact that they are one of the highest-rated establishments nationwide.

We can get anything from edibles to vape oils to concentrates, and, if ordered at their location, there is a nice little lounge area/tasting room that we can enjoy the products in a calm and zen area.

They also have another location on Nu Wav Kaiv BLVD in Las Vegas that is usually open until midnight.

31. Moe Greens

1276 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102
(415) 762-4255

Moe Greens is a little bit smaller and has more of a local, private atmosphere with booths that fit the ‘green’ theme and are designed for an intimate smoking session, but there is also a more open bar area for the social butterfly.

While it does not have a large food selection compared to some of the other restaurants on this list, this is possibly one of the best smoking lounges from the mood and atmosphere alone.

The decent selection of infused edibles and drinks can help our appetite and taste intrigued as we can take our time to fully take in all of the benefits that their products offer.

32. Cultivating Spirits

900 South Las Vegas Blvd Unit 1114, Las Vegas, NV 89101
(970) 368-2446

For those moments when we want a fine-dining experience coupled with our love of cannabis, Cultivating Spirits is one of the best places to go.

They offer special dining experiences for company dinners, birthdays, and bachelorette/bachelor parties, but their premium 3-course cannabis dining experience is one of the hardest to beat since every part of the dinner is cannabis-themed from the food to the table setting.

They also have locations in Colorado and Los Angeles, too.

33. Cannaisseur Series

San Francisco, CA

This is one of the few restaurants on this list that does not advertise their location or phone number for the sake of being an ‘underground experience’, and they stay true to form.

However, we can easily email them to schedule a brunch, a relaxed workshop that guides us in the art of food and cannabis, and specially-themed private events that include a 4-course meal with a locally-grown cannabis flower.

They have been around for years now, and they are still making our mouths water, especially with their delicious desserts.

34. Altered Plates

Los Angeles, CA
(818) 383-1846

This is one of the few family-founded and family-run cannabis restaurants on this list, and their unique and colorful culinary creations have been on the market and earning awards featured in popular magazines like Forbes, L.A. Times, and Food + Wine for the past five years.

We cannot get enough of their wide variety of creations from cocktails to deserts to hors d’oeuvres to complete meals. Like some of the other locations, they only take reservations via email confirmation, but it can be completely worth the minor wait.

35. 99th Floor Edibles

New York City, NY

The 99th Floor Edibles is possibly one of the higher-quality underground dining experiences when it comes to cannabis-infused dining.

Unlike some of the other establishments, they are one of the few that do not have a website, but they are easy to contact on their Facebook page. They have special events for certain times of year that include a multi-course, completely organic, cannabis-infused/paired menu.

They also have an on-site smoking lounge, complimentary sampling, and entertainment that does with the night’s events, and although, it is a bit on the underground side, they post enough on Facebook to show their skills and delicious food.

36. Kuma’s Corner

875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
(312)787-9596

Kuma’s Corner is a burger spot that’s not afraid to do things differently. On 4/20 in 2021, they offered Delta-8-THC edibles as a surprise to dine-in guests! Nowadays, it seems like they no longer offer this on their menu, but you can get an amazing burger here and choose from 32 beers on draft, some of them CBD infused. Plus, the pretzel buns are dope!

37. Elevation VIP

Los Angeles, CA 90070
(213)986-6301

We love the Elevation VIP not only for their delicious cuisine, but they are one of the best restaurants on this list for catering when it comes to private events, professional or casual.

They have our mouths watering from their wide variety of creations like jerk seasoned ribeye, vanilla bean cake pops, ginger glazed dumplings, and seared duck. Also, for those of us who enjoy more casual foods, they can make simple recipes like french fries, sunny-side-up eggs, and winter squash soup.

The locally and organically grown ingredients are something that we cannot help but love just as much as the quality of the cannabis.

38. Bull & Dragon

9748 Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90230
(323)380-2970

Another restaurant in the LA area, the Bull & Dragon is one of the more casual and quick places that we can get a simple pizza, fried chicken, brisket grilled cheese, and more.

For those of us who cannot pick it up ourselves, breathe a sigh of relief at knowing that they can be delivered through DoorDash and/or Grubhub.

They used to host monthly private dinners, and these will continue again soon. However, due to Covid-19, they had to temporarily cancel them, but we will not have to wait too much longer as they plan to resume them in May.

Cafe Cannal Latte
Photo: cafecannal.com

39. Café Cannal

1133 Broadway, New York, NY
(917)521-5012

Cafe Cannal’s mission was to create and curate a more open, social alternative for the cannabis community. This cafe is BYOW but has an amazing patio setup for you to partake. Enjoy their gourmet edibles and CBD infused coffees. It’s an excellent place to spend an afternoon enjoying some MJ.

40. Eat Sacrilicious

Boston, MA
(781)589-4431

We have found that Eat Sacrilicious is one of the few high-quality dining experiences that, in order to attend one of their events, we need to sign up to be a member first.

However, we can still contact them for private events that can have a large meal of 5 to 8 courses that all are infused with specific strains to best blend with each dish in the meal.

They can make beautiful yet simple dishes like grilled shrimp and avocado toast, grilled romaine Caesar salad, and cinnamon brown butter cake; all with an infusion of the highest quality cannabis.

41. Luvn Kitchn

222 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104

LUVN Kitchn is another one of our favorite underground caterers of culinary cannabis. They have been rising in the ranks since 2014 and have been fairly active on social media, particularly their Facebook page.

Not only do they have some amazing meals that can look beautiful and taste divine, but they also feature some virtual cooking classes that allow us to try their recipes at home, and most of these classes are free!

We encourage all the cannabis lovers out there who are curious to check out their Facebook page to see new recipes that they are creating as often as every week.

42. Herbal Chef

Los Angeles, CA
(424)209-9975

The Herbal Chef is one of our favorites when it comes to cannabis dining for one of the exclusive features: they can use THC, CBD, or no infusion depending on our preferences.

We also like the convenience of their meal preps so we can enjoy their deliciousness at home, even if some of us have restrictive diets (Vegan, Keto, and Paleo).

The free lifetime membership is also one of the big wins that bumps it this high on the list. Well, that and unique and eye-catching recipes that they show on their Instagram and Facebook page.

43. 1864 Tavern

290 California Avenue, Reno, NV 89509
(775)329-1864

1864 Tavern is possibly one of the best places in Reno when it comes to getting custom cocktails, beers, and wines. Whether it is for relaxing after a hard day at work or it is for chilling out with some friends, we have dozens of choices at this tavern.

The environment has a classic and timely look that can be as relaxing as the drinks, and they try to keep most if not all of the beers as local as possible to support local breweries, too. 1864 is one of a select few bars in the USA serving terpene cocktails–cocktails made with essential oils that give cannabis and other plants distinctive aromas and flavors (and effects).

44. by Chloe

60 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10010
(212)290-8000

by Chloe is one of the few restaurants that has locations all across the country and even the world; California, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

They are one of the few restaurants on this list that tries to keep their menu as vegan/vegetarian-friendly as possible with all of their menu being made of plant-based meats/substitutes for all of us non-meat eaters out there.

We love the casual yet delicious food that we normally eat when getting cannabis munchies like burgers, fries, subs, and desserts, but for some of us who tend to eat light, they also have freshly-made salads, too.

45. Koku

2 West 32nd Street, Manhattan, NY 10001
(212)643-8488

For all of us ramen lovers out there, this is possibly one of the best places to get a genuine bowl of Japanese or Korean ramen any day of the week whether it is in-house, for takeout, or for delivery, but going there can be one of the best experiences.

The environment is modest and simplistic with several private tables and a traditional bar that gets served right from the kitchen after we are transfixed with watching our food being made just a few feet in front of us.

46. The Original Hemp Cafe

322 East Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
(267)758-6534

The Hip Hemp Cafe is one of the few places that, we have found, gives two different dining experiences. The first floor serves cafe food such as sandwiches, salads, and even crepes while the second floor has its own cannabis menu, making it a great option for any mood.

We especially love the at-home vibe that we get from the decor and the cute coffee/hot chocolate cups that they serve our drinks in.

However, our eyes and taste buds go crazy for some of their more custom and unique treats like their unicorn butterscotch hot cocoa that can be made with a CBD blend.

47. The Lobby Bar

20 West 29th Street, New York, NY 10001
(212)679-2222

We like The Lobby Bar for being a little less known and a hidden gem. It is in the Ace Hotel.

When that happens, we will probably take the chance to get one of their custom cocktails while enjoying the simple and modest environment in the bar that has a calm and warm environment during most of their hours.

Thankfully, the bar is open late most nights. So for those of us who find ourselves working late, we still have the chance to get one of their drinks before closing.

48. narcbar

25 Cooper Square, New York, NY 10001
(212)441-3555

We know this bar as narcbar, but they have since re-branded and changed their name to “NO BAR”. We can still find it at the East Village Hotel, but, like many other hotel bars, they have been and will be closed due to Covid-19 for the foreseeable future.

We hope they will open again soon, though, because they are one of the elusive, cannabis-friendly, new wave gay bars that host events from dance parties to DJs to drag shows.

50. The Antidote

7378 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046
(323)852-3057

The Antidote is one of our less popular favorites when it comes to food since they do not have as big of a selection as some of the other places, but the edibles that they do have can be hard to beat.

Their shop also has a bunch of other CBD and hemp products like tinctures, bath bombs, creams, cigarettes, oils, face masks, pet treats, and more, making it super convenient for us if we need to restock and enjoy a nice edible.

51. Budberry

8271 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90046

Like Aeon Botanika, the opening of the Budberry cannabis lounge was something that we were eagerly awaiting for in 2020. However, like Aeon Botanika, when Covid-19 started to hit the US and establishments were closing their doors for quarantine, they delayed the opening.

We are still eagerly awaiting for an update from them to know if they will open in the near or far future, but, as of right now, their website has been shut down as well as their Instagram page.

52. Magnolia Oakland

161 Adeline Street, Oakland, CA 94607
(510)628-2113 (for pre-order) (510)902-7420 (all other calls)

The Magnolia Oakland is one of the more popular and favored dispensaries and bars in Oakland. Both the dispensary and the Dab Bar and Vapor Lounge is open every day of the week, though the hours can vary.

We can even make orders online, and, if it is picked up at a certain time, we can get certain things discounted depending on what sales they are hosting throughout the day, week, or year.

They also have 15% off for Seniors and 10% off for Veterans, port employees, students, teachers, and medical workers (must bring valid IDs for discounts).

53. The Summit Private Lounge

116 Water Street, Worcester, MA O1604
(774)420-2261

We found that The Summit Lounge is one of the highest-ranked and most popular lounges on the east coast. It is one of the nicer and newer holes in the walls, being around since 2017, but it can be a little more difficult to get in since they do not accept walk-ins and most of the events can be exclusive to private members only.

However, we have found that many of the membership plans are fairly affordable compared to other bars and lounges, and a lot of the things they feature at the events can teach even long-term cannabis lovers new things.

54. Pleasantrees

Multiple Locations, Michigan

This Michigan based chain of dispensaries has you covered for all your 420 needs, plus a small selection of gummies and other edibles to choose from.

55. Speakeasy Vape Lounge & Cannabis

2508 East Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80909
(719)445-9083

We like the Speakeasy Vape Lounge & Cannabis Club since it is one of the few nightclubs that have a full kitchen with cannabis munchies and snacks, a DJ, and games like pool and darts.

As of now, they are only open during the weekends, but we find them to be one of the most affordable and modest places that we can get some munchies and have some fun with friends after a long and stressful week of work.

56. The Artist Tree

8625 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90046
(310)461-4134

One of the reasons that we love The Artist Tree is that it is one of the only places that you can look at art and get cannabis products at the same time. The artists are all local and have a wide range of styles from expressive to unconventional.

We also found out that they are planning on opening several other locations in California including a dispensary in Riverside, Corona, and El Sobrante, and they already have another location in Los Angeles.

The online ordering, delivery, and curbside pick-up are also some of the more Covid-19-conscious features that we like since it means the store is staying open.

57. Gron Cafe + CBD Tasting Room

100 NE Farragut Street, Portland, OR 97211
(971)279-4754

The Gron CBD Cafe and Tasting Room is another hole in the wall for us cannabis lovers that has still managed to keep their doors open despite Covid-19.

While we cannot enjoy their delicious edibles like gummies, chocolates, and more as well as their other products from inside the store, we can still order nearly everything they offer online that can be shipped directly to us from home.

Like some of the other shops, they also have cannabis skin products, pet care products, and tinctures that we can still get online as well.

As far as their message says on their website, the Cafe and Tasting Room will be closed in the interest of keeping their staff and community safe, but they will still work to fulfill online orders.

58. Stoner Pizza Joint

120 Piedmont Ave NE Suite C, Atlanta, GA 30303
(770)544-7388

We found that the Stoner Pizza Joint is one of the fastest-growing and more popular cannabis pizza places.

They have 20 different locations and offer a variety of munchie foods from pizza, obviously, to wings, pepperoni rolls, calzones, salads, garlic knots, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and more.

We also love the convenience of their partnership with meal pick-ups like UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub, and Postmates.

59. fresh&co

200 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019
(212)513-7374

For those of us who are more on the health-conscious side or are trying to lose a few pounds before summer, fresh&co is one of the best places out there.

Their menu is specially made and designed to be as health-conscious as their values and offers a variety of options for those of us with restricted diets. Much of their items are organic, vegan/vegetarian, and gluten-free.

They are also one of the oldest family-owned restaurants, being in business for over 11 years now, and have some of the highest ratings and reviews from several companies and magazines.

60. Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar

301 East Hopkins Avenue, Aspen, CO 81611
(970)710-7275

We love the Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar for the drinks and for the environment. The bar has a rustic homey look with good lighting and elegantly classy decor that makes us feel like we are in a museum or art gallery underground, especially with the entrance.

The artistic appearance of the cocktails only raises that feel as each one looks as beautiful as it tastes. They also offer a wide selection of wines and even a few seasonal choices of beer, too. We also noticed that their menu changes according to the season in order to offer the best-tasting beverages.

61. Weed World Candies Food Truck

480 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10018
(404)496-3602

The best way we can describe Weed World Candies would be the candy shop for adults. Many of their candies contain a modest amount of CBD oil or are cannabis-themed, or they will when they fully release them in the future.

For now, they supply a modest amount of CBD products such as skin-care creams, vape supplies and oils, and a full spectrum 2500mg tincture.

However, keep in mind that none of their products have THC as it has only recently been legalized (in certain amounts) in the state of New York; all of their products contain CBD.

62. Get Toasted Food Truck

7301 East 11th Place South, Bixby, OK 74008
(918)322-1062

We think that Get Toasted Food Truck is possibly one of the best food trucks ever. Compared to some of the cafes and restaurants, they have a smaller selection, but one look at their Facebook pictures has us watering at the mouth.

They have addicting french toast flavors like s’mores, strawberry cheesecake, and Nutella along with a few protein sides (chicken, eggs, sausage, or bacon) that you can add to basic french toast, a griddle sandwich, or french toast dippers.

During the fall, they also have pumpkin spice and peach cobbler french toast, too.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, they are temporarily closed for regular walk-up, but you can order online and pick up from whatever location they are at that day or arrange for a private event.

63. Habit Doughnut Dispensary

1553 Platte Street, Denver, CO 80202
(720)428-8565

For all of us donut lovers out there, the Habit Doughnut Dispensary is the way to get our cravings fulfilled. They offer some of the most unique, delicious, and addictive donuts that can come with hits or bumps of CBD tincture or bitters, a CBD cold brew, or even be filled with 2 ounces of a premium spirit, craft beer, cider, and more.

The way that they create some of these amazing donuts is extremely cool and fun, too. They put whatever liquid we want in a dropper, stuff the dropper into the donuts, and, when we are ready to eat them, we can pull out the droppers and drizzle the liquid over our donuts however we want.

64. Studio A64

332 East Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
(719)287-9057

Unfortunately, this is another place that has been closed since last year due to Covid-19, but we hope that it opens again. We found them to be a fairly affordable and extremely popular nightclub that had a decent menu and environment.

In one area was a comfortable cafe and lounge-like setting that served a variety of drinks while in the other was a stage for DJs and bands to perform live.

They may not reopen again, but if they do, it can be a nice hole in the wall for us to return to for a comforting drink and live entertainment.

65. Dolce Riviera

2950 McKinnon Street, Dallas, TX 75021
(469) 458-6623

The mood of the Dolce Riviera was a cross between a family restaurant and an elegant place to eat brunch. We say ‘was’ because they are, like many other places, closed due to Covid-19 but only temporarily.

The environment is light and open while the food is classy and classically Italian between the variety of pasta and the elegant wine list.

While they are not open to the public, they may still be doing private party catering, depending on the time and number of people. Still, they are planning to open their doors again in the foreseeable future.

66. Wesley’s Vape & Hops Shop

Las Vegas, NV 89123

Chef Vee is a Las Vegas based caterer and chef that has you covered for THC infused foods.

68. Wing King

4235 South Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, NV 89147
(702)431-9464

The last on our list, we saved the Wing King for last for all of our wing lovers out there. Between the Delta 8 THC infused chicken wings, live music events, and the young and fresh atmosphere, this is one of the best places to go for some simply amazing food while having fun yet relaxing at the same time.

They are open every day of the week for dine-in, takeout, and delivery (only through apps like DoorDash), and they even do catering events, too.

They do not just have wings, though. They also have pizza, salads, over half a dozen appetizers, fries, and more.

69. Crush Pizza & Tap

1200 W. 38th Ave., Denver, CO, 80211
303-872-8400

If you’re looking to pair delicious pizza and wings with unique beer and liquor, Crush Pizza & Tap is the place to hit (no pun intended). Best sellers? This place has got a few.  The Hot Mess Pizza is the first one we’ll recommend, with its house-made pickled peppers, goat cheese, and honey, topped over spicy red sauce. We’ve also heard the Smoked Chicken Wings are the best in the state. As for the 420 Pizza, this is something you’ll have to experience for yourself as the menu describes it as “Whatever we feel like” so it’s different every time!

With the cannabis boom still in its early stages, cannabis-themed restaurants in America will continue to be a growing trend. New states are adopting legislation each year for medical and recreational legalization. As more states hop on board, the cannabis industry will continue to boom with new entrepreneurs jumping into this modern-day gold rush. Modern medicine also plays a hand as people seek alternative ways to combat their medical conditions. This, combined with more people seeking social recreation on the heels of Covid, seem to be a perfect recipe for THC and CBD-themed restaurants and eateries.
