Rare Bird

200 4th Avenue North Top Floor, Nashville, TN 37219
(615) 649-5000

Rare Bird is an apt name for this place. Bird’s eye views of Nashville that are this good are rare, and Rare Bird is one of the best rooftop experiences in the city. You’ll be able to see most of the city from this delightful restaurant turned-cocktail lounge, including Nissan Stadium. Rare Bird is the perfect place to come and unwind after the game with a specialty cocktail or two. Their Riviera Spritz, Madison Peach, and Sangria are particularly popular. They also have delicious craft beers available, which pair excellently with their juicy burgers.

Waldo’s Chicken & Beer

1120 4th Avenue North, Suite 103, Nashville, TN 37208
(615) 610-3394

This Germantown classic is one of the city’s best places to get Nashville Hot Chicken. Their Fowl Mouth is the must-order for first-timers. Fried in habanero oil and garnished with jalapeno slaw, you’ll be getting the whole “hot” experience from start to finish. The overnight brined wings or a Bucket O’ Bird are also tasty options if you want to do something other than a sandwich. Parking can be a bit of a hassle here, so if you’re visiting town, grab an Uber. The positive is that once you’ve eaten, you can walk down Broadway or across the river to the stadium and enjoy the game! It’s not the shortest walk in the world, but it’s scenic, and you’ll certainly have time to walk off all the tasty food you just ate!

Joyland

901 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN 37206
(615) 922-4934

So far, all of our recommendations have been West across the river and in downtown Nashville. So naturally, we needed to include something on the East side. Joyland is a delightful burger joint that opened up back in 2020. Chef Sean Brock has created a tasty menu that offers burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and his unique waffle hashbrown. A tasty cross between waffle fries and hashbrowns, it’s certainly not something to be missed. They also have breakfast biscuits, making Joyland the perfect place to grab food before those early Sunday kickoffs! Wash whatever you get down with a milkshake, and you’ll be ready for the day or your couch if it’s after the game.

At Daddy’s Dogs, size does, in fact, matter. They stand by their motto that they have the best meat on the street, and they’re not lying. This joint is changing the hot dog game and pushing its limits. Their massive hot dogs come with all kinds of toppings that you didn’t even know could go on them. Located in Printers Alley and a quick jaunt from Nissan Stadium, this place is exactly what you want when it’s gameday. Oh, you’ve also got to try the eloté loaded tots. Topped with Daddy’s chili, bacon, onion, jalapeno, grilled corn, cotija cheese, and Daddy’s Secret Sauwce, they might be some of the best tots you’ve ever had.

Located across the river from Nissan Stadium, Acme Feed & Seed serves up massive portions, live music, and cold drinks. Combine that with their beautiful patio that offers up great views of Broadway and the stadium, and you’ve got a special place. All the food is made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. As far as the food goes, Acme Feed & Seed has a fire Hot Chicken sandwich, and the Beer Belly Tacos hit the spot, too.
