Dining at El Cielo is a food experience. With the rotating tasting menu, meals here are guaranteed to be unique at this first Columbian restaurant to earn a Michelin star, headed by gastronomist JuanMa. Recent outstanding dishes here have been the Tree of Life bread course and the Yellow Butterfly and the Columbian Emerald dessert course.

Le Jardinier

151 NE 41st St Ste 135 Miami, FL 33137
(305) 402-9060

With a name evoking the garden, it’s no surprise that Le Jardinier’s vegetable-centered menu combines with world-class service to give guests a dining experience worthy of a Michelin star. While most meals outside of dinner are prix fixe, we love to try the seasonal tasting menus. Some of our past favorites have been the Diver Scallop with Shitake Chutney and the Winter Chestnut Ravioli with Brown Butter.

Itamae

140 NE 39th St Ste 136 Miami, FL 33137

It’s easy to see why this Japanese-Peruvian dining destination is worthy of Michelin’s Bib Gourmand designation. You’ll want to snag a reservation as soon as you can because with only 40 seats, getting a table can be challenging at this hotspot. One of the tastiest starters is the Cebiche Mixto, jumpstarting your meal with rich seafood flavors. As for the mains, try out the Nigiri and Uni, the Santa Barbara sea urchin.

Hiden

313 NW 25th St Miami, FL 33127

For an unmatched omakase experience, Hiden really delivers. Once you pass the secret door entrance, guests here are treated to an authentic Japanese experience with Hiden’s seasonal tasting menus. Some of the tastiest offerings recently have been the Champagne and Oyster with Yuzu-Green tea Granita, Corn and Shishitou Miso and the Kenmedai sushi.

Doya

347 NW 24th St Miami, FL 33127
(305) 501-2848

This Mediterranean Michelin restaurant prepares its authentic dishes over hot coals, just like classic food in Turkey and Greece is still cooked today. And at Doya, be sure to order plenty of mezes to share to get the full experience. Our favorite cold plates include Doya’s Babagannus and Cretan Feta while the hot mezes like the Grilled Halloumi, the Crispy Eggplant and the Butter Shrimp are all not to be missed.

This swanky design district spot is perfect for an upscale lunch or a jazzy dinner, and if you can, try to snag a courtyard spot to enjoy your meals at Michael’s Genuine. This Bib Gourmand Michelin restaurant is famous for its Chilled Seafood Platter among other amazing offerings, but we love to nibble on the Crispy Pig Ears with a Literally Good cocktail at happy hour.

Stubborn Seed

101 Washington Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139

The sleek and industrial chic Stubborn Seed is a worthy Michelin-star restaurant to try in the Miami area for not only the stunning food and service here, but also because Stubborn Seed’s glass kitchen provides a peek into the magic. Every meal is a tasting menu but you can add in an extra bar a la carte item like the Crunchy Truffle Bravas to go along with recent offerings like the Duck Confit Tortellini and the Dry Aged Rohan Duck Breast.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

151 NE 41st Ste 235 Miami, FL 33137
(305) 402-9070

The only two-star Michelin restaurant in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, L’Atelier is a spectacular destination perfect for a special night out. While diners here can choose from a small or large tasting menu, the prix fixe is the way to go at L’Atelier. When we dine at this design district gem, we love dishes like the Lobster A La Plancha, the Wagyu Beef with Caviar and a sweet ending with the Caramel and Passion Fruit Crémeux.

Los Felix

(305) 640-5013

The creative and fresh food at Los Felix is instantly craveable, from the Corn Grits with Wild Caught Pink Florida Shrimp to the Pork Cheek Carnitas. With a nod to indigenous heritage and the restaurant’s muse, Maria Felix, the experience at this Michelin-star restaurant is rich and bursting with flavors and colors from the moment you step inside the doors of this surprising spot with a nostalgic feel. As you are serenaded by a live DJ spinning tunes to create a warm, cozy vibe, guests at Los Felix feel the connection fostered here between the food and the earth.
