Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar

1233 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139

This delightful burger joint was originally in Martha’s Vineyard, but due to the pandemic, the restaurant opened a second location in Miami. The eatery showcases the skills of five generations of Black butchers and cooks, making it one of the top Black-owned restaurants in Miami to learn about the owners’ cultural histories while enjoying delicious and innovative sandwiches. Even though Fat Ronnie’s is known for its burgers, you’ll definitely want to try the Maine lobster roll that is piled high with butter seafood. The portobello burger is another favorite, even among non-vegetarians, since the mushroom is grilled to perfection and mimics the flavor of beef. If you prefer a more traditional burger, you’ll enjoy a hormone-free, grass-fed beef patty with all your favorite fixings. This popular Miami restaurant is also known for its elaborate bar with several cocktails you can enjoy with your burger, such as the mojitos the restaurant is famous for.
