15. Santiago’s

825 S. Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80219
303-934-9392

These breakfast burritos are famous for the option of having them “smothered”. For Waffle House aficionados, this is not putting diced onions on an order of hash browns; it’s drowning your burrito in their proprietary green chile. Whether you smother yours or not, you can get it with ham, bacon, chorizo, or breakfast sausage, along with eggs and potatoes, and you can either get yours mild, hot, or 1/2 and 1/2 (half mild, half hot). The green chile itself has plenty of spice, so plan accordingly. If you’re not in a breakfast burrito mood, you can get a wide array of other favorites, like a Mexican Hamburger (a flour tortilla with a burger and beans, topped with green chile and cheese, lettuce, and tomato) or Fajitas.
