Four Friends Kitchen

2893 Roslyn St., Denver, Colorado 80238

Who doesn’t love a meal with a cute story? Founded by four friends that wanted a nice place to take their families to brunch – Four Friends Kitchen is a great place for everyone to dine. There is no brunch menu because their specialty is classic breakfast with a hint of the south. The jalapeno chorizo hushpuppies are a delightful way to start off a meal alongside an order the beignets. The grits are brought in from a small farm in Georgia and cooked overnight so they are super creamy and full of flavor. If you’re looking for something a little more substantial the smoked brisket hash and eggs are a winner in every sense of the word. The menu is full of decadent, rich classic breakfast and you really can’t go wrong!

If you’re in the mood for chicken and waffles you have to check out Post Brewing Company located right off of South Broadway. The hot chicken and waffles are classic Nashville hot chicken with a sunny side up egg, country gravy, with a mouth-watering bourbon-pecan syrup. The chefs know what they are doing in the kitchen because the chicken is always fried perfectly with a crisp on the outside while still maintaining all of the juicy, moisture inside. If you are coming extremely hungry – the smothered breakfast burrito is the pick for you because it comes with chorizo, fried chicken, brunch potato, campfire beans, scrambled eggs, green chile, and lots of delicious, melted cheddar cheese. If you like a cocktail with your brunch the big bubba bloody comes topped with shrimp, crispy chicken skin, and bacon!

Urban Farmers

Urban Farmers is a steakhouse that has been reinvented with a much more relaxed atmosphere but food just as great. Urban Farmers pride themself on using only locally sourced ingredients and attention to that detail can easily be seen in each bite. The buttermilk pancakes are buttery cakes of goodness with delicious Vermont maple syrup and something you have to experience to enjoy. But what sticks out the most on the menu, other than their delicious bloody mary, is the Mile High Omelet that comes with green chili, local ham, red pepper, bearnaise, and white cheddar. If you’re feeling lavish we recommend the incredible lobster benedict that comes with delicious cojita, and a delightful tomato chutney.
