Catawba Brewing Company celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2012, and now has four brewpubs, one of which is located in Charlotte! They are best known for the popular White Zombie White Ale. Their tap room offers up to 12 beers on tap with their classics always on. Furthermore, you can purchase kegs, bombers and growlers to go! Sugar Creek crafts Belgian-inspired ales like it’s a science…which it technically is! You can get a single flight that stretches from a barrel-aged quadrupel to a peach slushie. Their food menu has more traditional brewery food like nachos and pretzels, but they also have a robust section of different doner kebabs, each with the appropriate beer pairing.
