In-house smoked meats go great with Neighborhood Taphouse’s huge lineup of beers in this casual, relaxed dining place. Dillo Eggs (cheesy jalapeño fried balls) and half-pound burgers will fill you up here, but the gravy-topped poutine fries is a good option as well. Started in a food truck, Jackrabbit Filly is a small spot that fills up (reservations recommended during dinner) and is very popular. This casual diner’s inside doesn’t give a clue to the fantastic food the Mason Jar churns out during lunch through early dinner five days a week. You won’t want to miss out on their buttermilk fried chicken or shrimp po boys, however their fried bologna sandwich is a true local favorite.
