Church and Union offers a significant amount of history in Charleston. The former church has been redefined as a New American restaurant and cocktail bar. Throughout the interior, you’ll find dramatic décor and stained glass. The menu is extraordinary with seasonal and farm-to-table options that range from fresh pasta to seafood and chicken. Once you tell them it’s your birthday, you’ll be treated like royalty. And who needs cake when you can have a chocolate tart?

Eleve is found in the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston. It can be the perfect venue for a birthday, and private rooms are available for larger celebrations. The luxurious location offers an incredible bar. Obviously, one of the reasons we love it is because of the rooftop views that you’ll get while dining. The chefs go out of their way to create elevated dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Oh, and there’s a brunch menu on the weekend in case that’s what you really want for your birthday.

The moment you walk into Prohibition, you’ll be met with a Jazz Age theme that is contagious. The menu offers a bit of southern comfort food including shrimp and grits and burgers. The cocktail menu is out of this world, and you can even convince the bartender to create a special birthday cocktail just for you.
