This family-owned restaurant serves Israeli and American-based dishes such as boneless buffalo thighs, the great hummus, chicken lemon rice soup, whitefish ceviche with avocado, and tortilla chips. The kosher burgers are tasty, while the sandwiches are full of flavor and filled with either grilled pastrami or brisket or corned beef, which are well prepared.

The entrees include rotisserie chicken, pasta, pulled brisket tacos, prime rib beef, and fish. The desserts are delicious chocolate cake or cookies. Their bar is stocked with kosher beers and wines. The food is served fresh, and even though the small restaurant is busy, the service is excellent.

Max’s is an Israeli-influenced shawarma stand with a range of celsius fresh dishes. The pita bread is served fresh and is soft and doughy. The falafel and chicken shawarma served with tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, cabbage, pickles, tahini, or hot sauce are a must-try.

The spicy harif, garlic, and onions are delicious. They also serve American food such as kosher all-beef hot dogs and sausages. The fries are fresh, and there are basic salads available. The ingredients used are fresh, and the meals are well-seasoned flavors all came together so amazingly well. The portions are generous in this Mediterranean food restaurant in DC.

The cafe serves breakfast and lunch. The meals are Jewish influenced and vegetarian. Some of the dishes available are soft bagels with cream cheese, doughy knishes, and spinach knish. There are salads and soups as well as sandwiches. The tuna salad on a Kaiser roll is decent, and the rice, bean, and avocado wrap is delicious and filling.

The cafe located in the museum is open on Friday and Saturday, but the only kosher items are Tuna Salad on Kaiser Roll, Egg Salad on Kaiser Roll, and Asian Noodle Salad. Because of the Jewish tradition of the Sabbath that goes from Friday to Saturday, fresh options are not available on these days.

Siena’s Pizzeria is an Italian and Mexican-inspired pizzeria. Menu dishes include freshly baked pan pizza and stuffed pizza which are very good. There is an option of vegan cheese which is great for lactose-intolerant people, and it is made in-house.

Other dishes served include calzones, pasta meals, and Mexican cuisine, including burritos and quesadillas. The menu is entirely vegetarian and vegan with no meat products but some fake meat alternatives. The unique thing about this Kosher restaurant in DC is that the ingredients used are fresh, organic, and are locally sourced. There are also soups on the menu which come in many different vegetarian options.

Pow Pow is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant that offers a kosher menu that is entirely plant-based. The food is Asian influenced with dishes such as Disco Stick Egg Roll, Chimi Chimi Pow Pow Egg Roll, Reuben egg roll, Classic crunchy egg roll wrapper filled with faux pastrami and cabbage, and the fresh salad bowls that are available. The Kung pao cauliflower is nice and spicy with cashews. The ingredients used are fresh and vegan meats, and cheeses used in the meals are all in-house made. The food is gluten-free and nut-free for people with these preferences or who suffer from food allergies.

Al-haesh is a kosher Israeli grill that serves delicious Mediterranean dishes. Some of the entrees on the menu are salads that come with hot, doughy pita. A top choice hummus is the tasty chickpea dip with mushrooms, sausage, and ground beef. Other excellent entrees are the lamb kebabs, entrecôte, chicken breast, and Shishlik Pargiot.

The shawarma has hearty flavors and is in filling portions. There is a range of other entrees such as salmon, falafel, lamb chops, burger, schnitzel, grilled eggplant, and branzino, which are fresh, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. There is outdoor seating where you can sit and enjoy delicious food from this restaurant.

Oh Mama Grill serves excellent Mediterranean-style food. Their menu includes Glatt Kosher meat, shawarma, falafel, and kabob, cooked fresh with plenty of flavor and seasoning. Appetizers include hummus served with fresh, delicious pita bread, spicy Beef Cigar, which comes with tahini, and Moroccan Vegetarian Cigar, which comes with tahini.

Their main dishes are large portions of Lamb Kabob, Sabich and the must-try Oh Mama’s burger with ground beef and ground lamb and fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and a side of fries. The salads and soups are fresh, which are tasty. The meals are served with plain rice or Israeli salad made with fresh vegetables and seasoned with fresh herbs.

Soupergirl is a kosher and vegan restaurant that serves hearty and filling soups and salads. The soup menu includes the peanut and butternut squash soup which is rich flavored with curry, cayenne, and cumin. The carrot and orange soup are spicy.

The white bean soup has a while rosemary flavor with chunks of turnips and carrots, and the lentil with sweet-potato and apple purée is a mixture of sweet and sweet and sweet-spicy in a delicious combination. The salads are fresh with quinoa- and cranberry salad, the lentil, white bean, rice salad, and the Asian-style noodle salad with peanut sauce are filling and flavorful.

Shouk is a fast-casual restaurant serving Israeli vegetarian and vegan food. The food is all plant-based, with no meat and dairy on their menu. The food options include lentil soup which is spicy and flavorful. The burgers are all vegetarian, with the veggie burger comes with roasted tomato, pickled turnip, arugula, charred onion, tahini, and the eggplant burger being tasty with great texture.
