Burger Culture

6920 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614
(813) 992-7444

DE-freaking-LICIOUS! This outdoor burger joint whips up some of the best burgers in the Tampa Bay area. Burger Culture serves their burgers out of a food truck, has a cool patio with benches for seating, has great art, cool games, and dope music to match the vibe. They have quite a variety of unique options that you definitely won’t be able to resist. If you’re looking for something a bit different, we recommend you try their mac and cheese burger or their arepa burger! For a chill lunch spot and an unreal burger, this is the place to check out. The only downside to this location is the summer heat since it is completely outdoors.

Daily Eats

901 S Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606

These burgers are prepared in the trendy yet classic style of smash burgers, ensuring a crispy yet juicy patty. In addition to a classic double, you can get a variety of toppings as well as turkey, veggie, and Impossible options. Some of the house specials include a southern fried chicken sandwich (plain or buffalo style), a two-cheese grilled cheese, and a BLTA+ (BLT with avocado on grilled sourdough). If you’re looking for something lighter, you can opt for the Shredder Bowls, where you can pick your mixed green, protein, and accompanying style.

El Cap Restaurant (St. Petersburg, FL)

3500 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704
(727) 521-1314

El Cap is most definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area and looking for some good grub. The restaurant has a very local, home town feel to it inside and they have a great outdoor seating area as well. As for the menu, they have tons of great options like the fresh chicken breast sandwich or the Italian sausage sub, but the burgers are where it’s at. Try the “World Champ” Cheeseburger and get anything you like on it from lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, provolone, bacon, mushrooms, you name. They’ll whip you up a  smokin’ burger that you can’t resist. If you’re really feeling it, make it a double and get twice the meat for only a couple bucks more. These burgers are juicy and delicious and believe me, you’ll be coming back for another as soon as you can.

Nebraska Mini Mart

4815 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33603
(813) 231-9522

Nebraska Mini Mart is an “adult playground” consisting of an acre and a half of space for bocce, shuffleboard, ping pong, and, most importantly, burgers. You can’t go wrong with the burger combo (with beef or Impossible plant-based meat) with crisp fries and a soda. Even though the burgers are divine, the chicken sandwiches are fantastic (particularly the hot honey dipped sandwich), the messy fries (topped with nacho cheese, chopped bacon, caramelized onions, and sauce), and shakes and ice cream floats. As if insane comfort food and free games weren’t enticing enough, Nebraska Mini Mart also has a rotating list of draft beers on tap, several wines, and kegged cocktails.

Riveters Tampa

2301 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33607
(813) 723-5197

Riveters is a sports bar with a fun ambiance, live music, and of course, amazing burgers! Our favorite burger is the Black and Blue Burger with a brioche bun, blue cheese fondue, bourbon bacon jam, and balsamic vinegar. If that isn’t up your alley, you have many other different options to choose from: the classic Riveters Burger, the Bomber Burger, and the Breakfast Burger. This joint is located right down the street from Raymond James Stadium, so it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite before or after a concert. To sweeten the deal, they also offer a happy hour from 3 to 7 pm! Either way, make sure you order the chili cheese fries and you’ll definitely be in for a good time.

Shula Burger Tampa

500 S Howard Ave Suite A, Tampa, FL 33606

Shula Burger is a spot you need to check out for a classic, juicy, crispy burger. They have several different kinds of burgers to choose from as well as many different toppings, types of buns, and sides. Go classic and try the Shula Burger that has lettuce, cheese, tomato, and pickles all loaded on a toasted brioche bun. This burger is perfection on a bun and you will not be disappointed. They also have other, more loaded options, such as the french onion, black and blue. mushroom swiss burger, and more. You can’t leave Shula Burger before trying the sweet potato tots. They come with this sweet sauce that will absolutely blow your mind. Don’t even get me started on the onion rings. Everything here is cooked to the perfect crisp and is sure to cure your greasy food craving.

The Boozy Pig

3255 West Cypress St Tampa, FL 33607
(813) 488-5333

The Boozy Pig has a cool concept going on where half of the place is the dining area and the other half is a butcher shop. So once you’ve finished your delicious meal, you can march on over to the butcher shop and pick out your favorite meats from brunch/ lunch and keep eating it all week long! For brunch they have you covered on all the protein with sandwiches like a breakfast cubano, the BLT, and of course the Boozy Burger. The Boozy Burger is two 4 oz. grass-fed beef patties with blue cheese, bacon jam, caramelized onions and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. If that doesn’t make you want to run to The Boozy Pig right now I don’t know what will! Try the tallow fries or bacon brussels on the side and you’re sure to be grinning all the way home.

The Fat Rabbit Pub

16029 Tampa Palms Blvd W, Tampa, FL 33647

The Fat Rabbit Pub is a laid-back spot that’s popular among locals for its wide selection of wines and draft beers, but most importantly for its burgers. It’s the perfect place to kick back and relax with some friends after a grueling day at work. There are plenty of TVs to watch the games, yet it’s not too loud considering it is a sports bar. Some fan favorites here are the Rhinelander burger with caramelized onions and housemade beer cheese, and also their Smokehouse burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, onion rings, and homemade BBQ sauce. Yum!
