Regardless of what you’re visiting the center for, you’re going to want something delicious to eat once you leave. No matter what you’re in the mood for, there will be a restaurant for you. Yeoman’s Cask and Lion has a typical pub atmosphere with limited seating and a bar filled with a wide array of draft beers. The craft beers are always rotating, so it’s a chance to explore all of the new flavors. It’s not uncommon for there to be a wait to get a table, especially with a large convention in town. You’ll find a number of British items on the menu, including Shepherd’s pie, and the burgers are also a hit at this pub.

Café Waterside is conveniently located inside the Tampa Marriott Water Street. You’ll find a relaxed atmosphere with views of the marina. When the weather is nice, sitting on the terrace is the ideal spot. The farm-to-table menu serves up some of the fresh ingredients found along the west coast of Florida. You’ll find everything from swordfish to flatbread on the menu. It gets busy, so be sure you make a reservation ahead of time.

Harpoon Harry’s has become a favorite throughout this area of Tampa. It’s located directly next to the convention center and has a pirate theme that you’ll fall in love with. The eclectic menu offers a wide array of seafood and steak. There’s a full bar, and you’ll find plenty of cocktails to choose from. They’re open for both lunch and dinner. Large groups can easily be accommodated in the dining room, but it’s always best to make a reservation.

Jackson’s Bistro is located just across the water on Harbour Island. The beautiful location offers stunning views of the Bay. You’ll find an impressive menu of Florida classics ranging from Cubans to sushi. The restaurant is kid-friendly until the evening, which is when it takes on a more vibrant nightlife. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The bistro is open for lunch and dinner, and you’ll find the occasional brunch buffet is served during special events. Reservations are almost always a must to get a table.

No convention experience is complete without a good slice of pizza. At Eddie and Sam’s, you can buy the pizza by the pie or by the slice. The counter-service place is a no-frills location, but those are usually where you find the best food. You can choose to dine in or place your order and pick it up. The crust is thin, allowing you to fold it over New York-style. There are tons of toppings that you can choose from to customize your pie. You’ll also find that they have a gluten-free option.

The Pint and Brew is known to have one of the largest selections of local craft brews in the area. Next to your beer, you can choose from a menu filled with upscale pub fare. You’ll find mac ‘n cheese skillets, healthy toasts, and even unique grilled cheeses. It’s comfort food for lunch and dinner, and it is beloved by kids and adults alike. They serve until midnight, so you’ll always get your fix, no matter how late you stay at the convention center.

Anchor and Brine is found inside of the Tampa Marriott Water Street. You’ll find a luxurious dining room and terrace where you can enjoy both lunch and dinner. The menu is comprised mainly of seafood specialties, but you’ll also find burgers, steak, and shrimp. Small plates are ideal for tasting with a group, though full entrees are also plentiful on the menu. They have plenty of great cocktail options so you’re sure to find something that pairs nicely with your meal.

Haiku is a sophisticated Asian fusion restaurant that is found inside the Element hotel. Dining in is always a pleasure as you can choose the stunning dining room or enjoy the patio and the Florida weather. Delicious seafood and sushi options fill the menu, and you can find them paired with all sorts of cocktails. For those who don’t want seafood, you’ll find plenty of other proteins, including duck and beef.
