Chill Bros Scoop Shop

1910 E 7th Ave Ste 101, Tampa, FL 33605
(813) 247-2767

Right in the Ybor Historic District, Chill Bros vintage, neon diner-inspired sign and decor welcomes in locals and tourists alike. All of their ice cream is homemade and they’re constantly updating their menu with seasonal flavors; some examples: blueberry buckle and carrot cake, what?! They also have their tried and true staple flavors that you can always count on. We love the bees knees, milk and cookies and strawberry. Chill Bros is a whimsical, happy spot for your afternoon sweet tooth fixation.

Revolution Ice Cream

6701 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
(813) 513-5053

Revolution Ice Cream is a beloved local, hole in the wall ice cream shop. They pride themselves on their creative, “flavorlicious” options. You’ll find some of the traditional ice cream flavors, but you’ll also see one-of-a-kind options like Matts Fatty Roll (a scrumptious spin on a cinnamon roll) or Porky’s Delight which has actual bacon brittle in it. It’s clear that they take quality and creativity seriously at Revolution!

Chill Bar Ice Cream

11506 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617
(813) 899-1616

Looking for consistent, quality ice cream in Tampa? Look no further than Chill Bar Ice Cream. This local haunt takes a traditional ice cream cone to the next level with their inventive “puffle cone.” The puffle cone is a warm, thick cut waffle that sits as the base for your ice cream scoops – it’s truly insane. They also offer countless toppings so you can elevate your puffle cone creation to a brownie sundae or a peanut butter explosion. Chill Bar also offers many dairy and gluten free options making it the perfect, inclusive spot to bring the whole family.

Abbott’s Frozen Custard

8932 Bertha Palmer Blvd Unit A, Temple Terrace, FL 33617
(813) 980-0244

You haven’t lived until you’ve tried Abbott’s Frozen Custard. Abbott’s has a long history of being a family-owned business that’s grown into a popular chain. Their delicious custard is a secret family recipe and serves as the base of their many sweet treats. You can order a traditional custard, milkshake or sundae, or you can create your own flavor of custard. Abbott’s also offers cakes, so it’s a great option for a birthday party!

K Dessert Cafe

7525 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa Bay, FL 33615
(813) 290-0777

K Dessert Cafe doesn’t just serve ice cream; in fact, they are a boba tea shop. They have a wide selection of refreshing teas with creamy, sweet, tapioca bobas. However, one of our favorite menu items is the waffle ice cream sundae. We love the fluffy, fresh waffle, cold, creamy ice cream and the huge tuft of whipped cream on top. As for the atmosphere, K Dessert Cafe is the perfect spot to cozy up with a book or bring your computer and crank out some work all while enjoying a delicious sweet treat.

Michoacana Neveria and Paleteria

10027 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618
(813) 374-1788

Michoacana Neveria and Paleteria is not your typical ice cream parlor – you should pop into this local spot for truly unique sweet desserts. A traditional Mexican ice cream shop, Michoacana specializes in fresh fruit popsicles and mangonada. Any of their flavors are delicious, but the guava is particularly tasty, and you can even take any popsicle and dip it into rich chocolate and top it with coconut flakes. This unassuming dessert shop in a strip mall is the place to be for a refreshing, unique dessert.

Aubi & Ramsa

5223 Orient Rd, Tampa, FL 33610
(855) 282-4726

If you’re looking for a truly original ice cream experience, Aubi & Ramsa is the place to be…if you’re 21 and up. Aubi & Ramsa is the premier Tampa spot for liquor-infused ice cream and sorbet. The shop is quaint and designed to look like an upscale craft cocktail bar, so you’ll be served by one of their excellent “bartenders” and get your ice cream of choice. We really love the crisp key lime pie vodka-infused ice cream. Get your night out started in an unconventional way – with ice cream!
