Saw’s Soul Kitchen claims to have the best BBQ in America. It has established franchises in multiple locations, including one near Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. They serve Carolina-style pulled pork, ribs, and chicken with exciting sides that include deviled eggs, baked potatoes, banana pudding, and beans. They also sell their BBQ sauces if you want to take one home or on the go with you. All their restaurants have slight variations on the menu, but they maintain some of their signature dishes.

You can find the best pizza at Famous Famiglia. It’s a family-owned business that specializes in making different kinds of pizzas. We recommend trying out their NYC-style pies, although they also have customizable pies where you can choose your own toppings. Bar Symon opens from 5 am to 8 pm everyday. They have an active runway view which most diners appreciate. You can get a tap beer selection to chase down food after eating. The restaurant is part of the United Concessions Group. Their only goal is to make customers happy. Smoked Turkey Rachel is people’s favorite on their menu, but we also recommend trying crispy chicken wings, an impossible burger, or tomato soup. Bar Symon opened at the airport in 2017, and they have managed to maintain an excellent reputation. Don’t forget to look at their wins and specialty cocktails before leaving.

Bud & Marilyn’s is located in terminal C and has become a staple in Philadelphia International Airport. It’s a celebration of all the American classics which is why they specialize in making comfort foods. Chef Turney named the restaurant after her grandparents. Chicken tenders with fries are budget-friendly and very filling, but you can also try a bucket of Marilyn’s fried chicken. They also have burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salad.
