1. The Baked Bear

1809 Division St, Nashville, TN 37203
(615) 730-6991

The Baked Bear adds something unique to the ice cream game by focusing on ice cream sandwiches. That means that you not only get amazing ice cream but also freshly baked cookies. The sandwiched goodness comes in a variety of combinations. The best part is that you can mix and match the top and bottom of your ice cream sandwich. And if you’re not feeling like a frozen treat, cookies, and brownies are sold separately, too.

5301 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37209

Bobbie’s Dairy Dip is a place that’s been on the scene since 1951. With its brightly colored free-standing building, it’s also hard to miss. They have a big reopening every year as soon as winter is over, so it’s the official kickoff of summer. Eat inside, at a picnic table, or grab it to go. You can get dipped cones, sundaes, and more. They also serve burgers, so you can make an afternoon of going to Bobbie’s.

While they’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays, they’re open until 9 PM on most of the other nights to make up for it. Jeni’s has been around for a while, and locations have been popping up all over Nashville. We love the Broadway location simply because it’s centrally located. Ice cream and frozen yogurt are served, and they use a variety of local ingredients. The flavors are always changing, and we happen to love the gooey butter cake whenever it shows up on the menu. They also sell pints, so you can grab a few to bring home with you.
