Jack Fry’s

1007 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40204
(502) 452-9244

This pillar of Louisville’s food scene celebrates its 90th year in 2023. It goes without saying that dining at Jack Fry’s is an experience, unlike many others. If a place could tell a story, Jack Fry’s would have too many to count. Heck, the bar is still original from 1933. The famous Jack’s Burger features a locally aged patty on a brioche bun with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and fries on the side. Now, that may not sound like a Michelin Star meal, but once you take a bite, you’ll understand why it should be. The list of awards won by this place is too long to count, but one thing is certain: just like it claims, Jack Fry’s is the best night in town.

Seviche

1538 Bardstown Road #1156, Louisville, KY 40205
(502) 473-8560

Chef Anthony Lamas has created something special with Seviche. The menu explores the combination of Lamas’s Latin heritage with classic Southern ingredients. This combination results in a unique culinary experience that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. At Seviche, your experience is more than just taste. It’s a sensory journey of sights, sounds, and flavors that leaves you ready for more. It’s impossible to order anything wrong here. That being said, if you wanted a recommendation, we’d suggest starting off with the Chicharrones de Calamares. Follow that up with an order of the Ahi Tuna Ceviche (because you can’t not order ceviche here.) Then enjoy one of the phenomenal entrees like the Sustainable Salmon or Mahi Mahi Tacos. Finish things up with Chocolate Tres Leches, and you’ll be wondering if you’ve ever had a better dining experience.
