1. Bookhouse Brewing

1526 W 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113
(216) 862-4048

Sometimes you can get a lot from a name, and that’s the case with Bookhouse Brewing. This cozy little brewery takes a left when most people turn right when it comes to creating ambiance. That’s because you won’t find a space that is packed with TVs and other sorts of electronic distractions. At Bookhouse, you can find a little nook, grab a book, a beer, and relax. When it comes to beer, each batch of beer or cider is made by hand and only with the highest quality ingredients. You won’t find much by way of food here, but what they do have is quality. A larger kitchen is in the works, but in the meantime, you can find fantastic pop-up options pretty regularly.

2. Brick and Barrel Brewing

1844 Columbus Road, Cleveland, OH 44113
(216) 331-3308

Brick and Barrel Brewing is a must-visit if you’re someone who appreciates small-batch brews. This place was built by people who have a passion for craft beer and top-tier flavor. The small industrial-style taproom creates a relaxed atmosphere despite the confined surroundings. The taps themselves only have a few barrels, so each visit can see you trying something new. It may not be the biggest or the flashiest or have a deep food menu, but Brick and Barrel Brewing is perfect for those of you who really enjoy the process and detail that goes into making craft beer.

Butcher and the Brewer is a locally owned and operated industrial-chic brewpub serving farmhouse-inspired dishes that draw on local ingredients, flavors, and artisan products. Butcher and the Brewer believe in a communal dining experience that is perfect for a pregame meal. Order a few different dishes like the Wood-Fired Dry Rub Wings, Korean Sticky Fried Chicken, or the Braised Pork Collar (if they have it) and share them amongst your group so that everyone can get a taste of these delectable flavors. You should also make sure to order one of their artfully crafted beers or house-made hard seltzers. Butcher and Brewer doesn’t miss.

7. Nano Brew Cleveland

1859 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113
(216) 862-6631

This brewpub is yet another modern take on what sports bars can be. Nano Brew Cleveland has delighted patrons for over a decade with their delicious food and beer. There’s plenty of space and TVs around to be able to catch the game, but it may be hard to pay attention when the food looks and tastes as good as it does here. The main attraction is the burgers. Fresh, never-frozen, and 100% Angus Beef topped with a potato bun, these burgers have their ingredients locally sourced from Ohio farms. They’re so good that they’ve been voted the most unique burger in Cleveland. With food this good, you’ll be happy no matter what the final score is.

It’s family owned and operated by a husband and wife team who have a passion for delicious food and beer. The menu is seasonal and farm-fresh and is not comparable to your regular brewery food. The Naan Mi is incredible, as is Curry Salad Sammie, the beers on tap are a mixture of traditional and experimental brews, and the interior vibes are immaculate. Nobel Beast Brewing Co. isn’t your normal brewery, and that’s why Cleveland loves it.
