Mordecai

3632 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60613
(773) 269-5410

Mordecai is famous for its drink’s menu as much as for its food menu. The restaurant serves classic American dishes with burgers and spaghetti and meatballs. We started with a Charcuterie Board, which was delicious with tender meats and soft, lightly toasted sourdough bread, which was a great combination.

We had Rockette pappardelle, tasty pasta, and lasagna, which came with a salad and balanced perfectly. Special mention goes to the Summer Greens salad with garlic shrimp, spaghetti, and meatballs, and orecchiette with boar sausage, which was so filling with expertly blended favors. For drinks, the cocktails we had were perfectly prepared.

Big Star

3640 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60613
(773) 857-7120

Big Star serves tacos and drinks in a fun and spacious bar atmosphere. This is one of the Restaurants Near Wrigley Field where the food is served hot and fresh and made with tasty ingredients.

Some of our favorites are the hot chips which are deliciously prepared nachos freshly fried and with a sprinkling of salsa served with guacamole, queso fundido, tacos, Pescado, Panza, and carne asada. The chicken and Carne Asada are also pretty good options that are filling. The bar gets quite packed, especially before and after games. The margaritas are also a big draw, and their drinks menu caters to a wide variety of tastes.

Byron’s Hot Dog Haus

1017 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago IL, USA
(773) 281-7474

A Chicago hot dog is a culinary experience that makes you want more. The perfect combination of the Vienna beef, onions, relish, tomato slices, dill pickle mustard, sports, green pepper, and cucumber topped off with celery salt is presented perfectly at Byron’s. The menu also includes other quick eats such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads.

We had the chicken breast salad with iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, celery, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, all of which were fresh and crunchy, a perfect accompaniment to the Chicago hotdog. Byron’s is a couple of blocks away from Wrigley Field but is worth the walk for an authentic Chicago hotdog.

Aurelio’s Pizza

3801 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60613
(773) 887-0999

The pizza at Aurelio’s is heavenly. The pizza is a thin crust pizza that is served fresh with great combinations. We had boneless wings, breadsticks, and antipasto salad as we waited for the pizza. They were perfectly flavored, with everything coming out hot and fresh. The pizza we enjoyed most was the cheese with a host of toppings, but the sauce was the winner.

The combinations available include classics such as sausage, pepperoni, and ham. The marinated spinach was a pleasant surprise and combined well with the mushroom, green pepper, sausage, bacon, and pepperoni toppings we chose. They also offer thick crust and stuffed crust pizzas.

ZamZam

ZamZam serves delicious Middle Eastern fast food. The shawarma, hummus, falafels. Baba ganoush is delicious and has great choices. This is one of the best Restaurants Near Wrigley Field when looking for different flavored cuisine.

The sandstorm plate has a beef and chicken shawarma, especially if you do not want to choose between the two. It also comes with two falafel, some rice, and two sides of your choice. The shawarmas are great with the tender meat combined with the fresh and crunchy vegetables in a lightly toasted wrap. Their salads are fresh and the ingredients used are exotic to get the right amount of spice while not overwhelming the dish.

Cozy Noodles & Rice

3456 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago, IL 60657
(773) 327-0100

Cozy Noodles and Rice is a Thai spot in Wrigleyville serves light and fresh meals. Typical of Thai cuisine, chicken noodle soup is a favorite and fried tofu and pad Thai are other flavorful options that are filling.

Another great option we tried was the General Tso chicken which was a perfect combination of sweet and sour, and the basil chicken is lightly flavored but still carrying great taste. The portions are filling, and the food is made fresh. The restaurant only takes cash so go prepared. The decor is quaint with many fun artifacts, but it is small and quickly fills up.

The boneless wings were excellent. The salad with pulled pork is delicious, and the burgers are fresh and well done. The portions are generous as they are flavorful. Lowcountry Lakeview

(312) 866-6161

Lowcountry Lakeview serves Cajun cuisine. The shrimp combo is a favorite with fried shrimp, wings, extra potatoes, and exotic sauces from Cajun culture. You can also order extras, and we ordered an additional snow crab cluster which was good. The shrimp is perfectly fried with a delicious crispy crust.

The Cajun aioli sauce is the perfect sauce for the dish. The food comes in mildly spiced or medium spiced or hot based on what you would like. We also tried cornbread which is flavorful with a hint of garlic. The portions were good, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive.
