1. Superdawg

6363 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646
(773) 763-0660

Superdawg is a drive-in that’s been part of the Chicago food scene since 1948. It’s one of the few places where you can still go to see carhops delivering all of the food. You’ll find it easily with the cartoon hot dogs standing tall on the roof of the building. Chicago-style dogs, fries, and milkshakes are served until 1 in the morning, every day of the week. Sometimes, this can be one of the best munchies to find when you’re driving around late.

2. The Wiener’s Circle

2622 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614
(773) 477-7444

Don’t mistake this place for the winner’s circle. Though, you’ll feel like a winner once you’re chowing down on one of their famous char dogs. It’s a tiny place but we love it because of the surly servers. Plus, they’re open until 2 AM. Beyond dogs, they also have burgers, chicken sandwiches, and even a few options for vegetarians.

3. Maxwell Street Depot

411 W 31st St, Chicago, IL 60616
(312) 326-3514

Imagine feeling the pang of hunger when you’re driving around Chicago. All you have to do is head toward Maxwell Street Depot. It doesn’t matter what time of the day or night because they’re open 24 hours. It’s not a fancy place, which is one of the reasons we love it. They are known for their porkchop sandwiches, though they also have Polish sausages, burgers, and a few other quick essentials.

4. Georgio’s Gourmet Pizza

11 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60610

When you’re going out in Gold Coast, you’re going to be hungry after eating and dancing the night away. Georgio’s is conveniently located just across the street from some of our favorite bars, and is the perfect pit stop before you head home. Choose from all kinds of tasty pizzas, they’ll throw it in the oven and boom, your night has been made. The inside is small so you can hang out and eat real quick or head outside where there’s some more space. You won’t regret late-nighting at this spot.

5. White Palace Grill

1159 S Canal St, Chicago, IL 60607
(312) 939-7167

This spot has been around since 1939 and is open 24/7. It’s the quintessential diner on the inside with plenty of seating. There’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the menu. The best part is that you can enjoy eggs any time of the day or night. The chicken & waffles may be one of our favorite things to have there, but you’ll find plenty to choose from.

6. Birria Huentitan

4019 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60639
(773) 276-0768

Tacos and burritos until 1:30 AM? Absolutely. Birria Huentitan is a taqueria that we stumbled upon one night. We simply followed our noses and found mouth-watering dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The casual interior has plenty of seating. As for the menu, there are plenty of options. Start with some chips and salsa. Then, we highly recommend a combination dinner so you can get some of their classic dishes all on one plate.

7. Little Bad Wolf

1541 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago, IL 60660
(773) 942-6399

Little Bad Wolf is found inside The Call. Comfort food, a vibrant bar scene, and hours that go until midnight mean a home run in our opinion. There are over 100 different beers, and the bartenders make some incredible specialty cocktails. If you’re looking for munchies, they offer everything from jumbo crab cakes to charcuterie boards. And if you happen to be a bit hungrier, there are burgers, steak frites, and all sorts of other incredible grub.

Indian and Pakistani food is served until 2 AM at Ghareeb Nawaz. It’s quite a bustling eatery with hearty portions. The interior is modern with exposed beam ceilings and high-top tables. The menu on the board when you walk in provides photos of everything, making it easier to know what to expect. From masala to tikka to kabobs, there’s quite the assortment. We love that there’s a chance to eat delicious food without spending a fortune.

9. Late-Night Thai

1624 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657
(773) 327-9945

Late Night Thai can satisfy your cravings for noodles, sushi, curries, and other delicious options. The space is small for dining in, but they also do an incredible takeout service. They’re open until 2 AM during the week and 3 AM on the weekends. We’re a sucker for their miso soup as well as their tempura fried rolls, especially cruising in there late into the night.
