The menu changes every day, but some tried and true options include Lobster Agnolotti Pasta which has lobster, pasta, and mushrooms cooked perfectly. The Smoked Mackerel was delicious. The Osso Bucco-based meals paired with pappardelle Bolognese, roasted duck served with roasted duck parsnip purée, which was heavenly.

 

Other superior dishes are lobster ravioli, veal chop, which came with four kinds of cheese, a tomato sauce, and Pollo Parmigiana. Mistral has been an iconic Boston restaurant since they opened in 1997. While not on our budget friendly restaurant list, the food, service & decor are always on point. Everything on the menu is excellent, our favorites are the Beef Tenderloin Mashed Potato Grilled Pizza, Dover Sole Meunièr & Rack of Lamb. Mistral checks all the boxes for a memorable romantic dinner.

The French cuisine includes some classics such as Steak Tartare, Beef bourguignon, Foie Gras, Escargot toasts, and French-inspired Charcuterie boards for a romantic meal.

 

The food is excellently prepared and served fresh since the ingredients are locally sourced. Vegetarian paellas come with assorted seasonal vegetables and Mixta paella with shrimp, clams, rabbit, chorizo, black garlic aioli.

 

The menu also includes desserts Churros con Chocolate and Chocolate Creme Catalan. The food is tasty and flavors fresh and well combined. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, making it great for getting to know you on a romantic date. The bookstore and music store are lovely additions and make it a top romantic spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Oleanna is a neighborhood restaurant that serves Eastern Mediterranean dishes with a leaning towards Arabic foods. The idyllic spot has a garden for outside dining in the summer. For winter dining, there is a fireplace for intimate dinners. The dishes we tried were the whipped feta which was delicate and enjoyable, the falafel, and the baba ganoush.

 

The bread was hot with a hint of garlic which was perfect paired with a zesty dip. The meze is also exceptional. The sultan’s delight was outstanding, with the beef was tender and savory while the accompanying eggplant puree was perfectly prepared. The fresh ingredients, a staple mark of Oleaná’s dishes, make it one of the Best Romantic Restaurants in Boston.

Menton is a high-end eatery serving caviar and two menu options which are À la Carte or the Chef’s Whim Tasting. The caviar is exceptional and elevates a romantic date. The drinks menu includes champagne for lovers celebrating an occasion. The tasting menu is sublime with dishes such as beef tartare tenderly prepared, wagyu beef was also exceptional, and the squid ink pasta was delicious.

 

The seafood dishes are fresh and special mention goes to the lobster, served with delicate but savory sauces. The restaurant atmosphere is quite elegant, and the service is high class. The dessert selections finish off the meal beautifully.

The food served in bite-sized portions is full of flavor. Because the courses are so many, you will experience a wide variety of incredibly combined flavors and high-quality fish in all the dishes. No. 9 Park is an intimate townhouse that offers the ultimate dining experience for a romantic date. The menu is Italian and French-inspired in an a la carte menu or as part of a chef’s tasting menu. The appetizer of prune-stuffed gnocchi with foie gras, almond, and vin santo is exceptional, while the ricotta lasagnetti is flavorful.

 

We had the tasting menu, which started with a lovely scallop with artichoke and lemon garnishes. We also had salmon, a duck pasta and duck, followed by foie gras, veal, and wagyu beef. The flavors were rich and exceptionally paired with wine from the comprehensive wine list.

This French restaurant is a charming eatery with a warm, inviting atmosphere. It serves an elegant champagne and caviar combination that is heavenly. The modern French cuisine includes Lobster Gnocchi Fricassée, which comes with fresh lobster, Handmade Potato Gnocchi, Chanterelle Mushrooms, Bottarga, Citrus Tarragon Glace.

 

Other entrees are Crispy Duck Confit, Duck Liver Pâté, Summer Salad, and the Mozzarella House Burrata. The main courses include deliciously prepared beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. The Pan-Seared Sea Scallops and Spiced Long Island Duck Breast are fresh and delicious, and the Crème Brûlée was a perfect finish to the meal.
